Join the UCLA Rose Bowl Bruins for a Stream Cleanup at the Arroyo Seco. Volunteers will be guided in the removal of invasive species in the upper Arroyo Seco watershed. This invasive species management activity is part of the Arroyo Seco Foundation’s Rainbow Trout Restoration Program. Restoring critical riparian and aquatic habitat is critical to the long-term success of the program, which has been funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Volunteers should bring comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, gardening gloves, and water. Tarps for the plant trash, and plastic bags for any rubbish will be provided.
Volunteers will meet at the end of Explorer Rd. where a dirt parking lot is located right before the JPL Parking entrance. More information will be sent out to registrants.
