UCLA Lambda Alumni Association has partnered with Alumni Career Engagement to present the LGBTQ+ Alumni Career Launchpad series starting with session one on Tuesday, Jan. 12. This first session will cover resume and cover letter development. This 4-week program will cover key career management and professional development topics to help you clarify your career goals, expand your Bruin network, and refine your professional brand. This series will cover topics such as: resume and cover letter development, job searching, networking, LinkedIn, interviewing and more. Additionally, this program will demonstrate careful consideration of how your LGBTQ+ identity impacts your experience in the workplace, and highlight how to use your diversity as a strength to employers. Lastly, a final session in the program will cover the topic of if, when and how to come out at work. This session will be recorded for access after the program is over.
