DESCRIPTION:Join the UCLA New York Tri-State Network for a fun evening of musical theatre at The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at New World Stage. We’ll meet at 6 p.m. before the show to connect with Bruins\, distribute tickets\, and invite interested attendees to sign up for the chance to participate onstage during the performance.\n\nCurtain follows with a fantastic cast led by television and film star Jon Cryer\, alongside acclaimed Broadway performers. You’ll discover spaces not typically open to the public while learning more about\nthe people and programs that bring the arts to life.\nFollowing the tour\, continue the conversation over a light lunch with fellow Bruins. Share your perspectives on the performing arts\, meet alumni who enjoy arts and culture\, and build new connections in a relaxed and welcoming setting.\nEvent Schedule\nSaturday\, September 5\, 2026\n9:45am – 1:30pm\n• 9:45am – Check-in at Argyros Plaza\n• 10am – 12:00pm – Docent-led VIP tour (tour begins promptly at 10:00 am)\n• 12:00 – 1:30pm – Light lunch and performing arts discussion\nPre-registration is required.
