College Fairs

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Represent UCLA at a college fair near you in California! You’ll have the opportunity to meet other active alumni volunteers, answer questions about UCLA and speak with prospective Bruins about why UCLA could be the ideal university for them.

Most college fairs are held at high schools on week nights during the months of August – November. An up-to-date listing of upcoming college fairs will be provided to volunteers after they attend a mandatory training session. You will be able to sign up for the fairs that are most convenient for your schedule. The time commitment is roughly 2-3 hours per fair.

TRAINING

Volunteers participate in a mandatory virtual training session facilitated by Undergraduate Admissions and Alumni Affairs to learn more about UCLA's admission process, UCLA facts, UCLA highlights, fair logistics and frequently asked questions. You will also learn more about volunteer expectations, get to meet other local volunteers and learn best practices.
