Gabrielle Gorman (Bruin story since ’20) demonstrates how storytelling can drive meaningful change in the world. By merging her passion for filmmaking, writing, and activism, she promotes social good through her work. A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television, Gorman has made it her mission to create authentic narratives that resonate and inspire.

Raised in Los Angeles, Gabrielle demonstrated her filmmaking talent from a young age, quickly earning national recognition through her experimental short film “Dear America.” Currently, she serves as the Digital Communications Manager at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition in Washington, D.C., where she uses her storytelling skills to advocate for global issues.

Gabrielle strives to use her work to spark meaningful conversations and promote positive change around critical topics such as racial justice, identity, and equity. Her journey inspires those who believe in the power of storytelling to transform lives and communities.
