Meet the Farrukh siblings, UCLA alums whose story of change inspires. Motivated by their time at UCLA, and inspired by their mother’s unwavering courage and support, they embarked on a mission to bridge educational disparities around the globe. These inspiring Bruins have committed their lives to making a meaningful difference through the Farrukh Foundation.

Founded by 2023 UCLA grads Humzah Farrukh (CEO), Qasim Farrukh (Vice President), and Umiemah Farrukh (CFO), the foundation reflects their steadfast commitment to sustainable education. They work to establish safe schools and computer labs in underserved communities worldwide, transforming lives by sharing the opportunities they’ve been given. Omar Farrukh, the fourth sibling (UCLA class of 2025), serves as the Chairman of the Farrukh Foundation, carrying forward their mother’s legacy and the siblings’ shared promise of creating lasting change.

Together, their journey—from first-generation college graduates to influential global changemakers—beautifully illustrates the profound impact UCLA has on its alumni and their remarkable ability to foster community.
