While we are unable to be together at this time, we hope you join us for a week full of events which celebrate all aspects of UCLA. Join other Bruins from around the world as we celebrate the Bruin community with I ♥ UCLA week.
Everyone hears tales of UCLA’s infamous tunnels during freshman orientation. Allegedly, the underground network sprawls over six miles, connecting all major buildings on campus.
You have some spare time after your South Campus lecture and decide to try your luck at getting to your next class on North Campus, all while exploring one of UCLA’s “treasures.” Sounds like a great plan, right?
Enter if you dare…
Do you love to create art? Do you want to see your art sold at the UCLA Student Store? The Student Alumni Association and the ASUCLA store have teamed up for an exciting new sticker contest showcasing very talented Bruins! These submissions will be open until Wednesday, June 30.

In 2010, the UCLA Alumni Scholars Club revived a 50 year-old tradition called the Marty Sklar My Last Lecture Award. This student-nominated faculty award was established to honor a notable UCLA professor who has made a positive impact and been an inspiration to students.
This year’s 2021 Marty Sklar My Last Lecture Award recipient is Carey Nachenberg ’95, M.S. ’95, adjunct associate professor of computer science at the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering. Nachenberg is a leading cybersecurity expert and co-inventor of Norton Antivirus, the world’s most popular computer security product. He was named one of Computerworld magazine’s “40 Under 40: 40 Innovative IT People to Watch,” and was awarded the Wall Street Journal’s 2010 Technology Innovation Award for his innovations in the security field.

Although we won’t be able to host in person this year, we hope that you’ll help us forge a brand new iteration of UCLA’s oldest and greatest musical tradition.
