Bruin Insider Show / UCLA Bruins Audio Network

The official weekly radio show of the UCLA Athletic Department, the Bruin Insider Show is part of the UCLA Bruins Audio Network, the official home for UCLA Athletics. Hosted by UCLA voices Wayne Cook ’96, Tracy Murray ’06 and Nick Koop, the show delivers exclusive interviews, expert analysis and in-depth Bruins coverage. The show also features live play-by-play of Bruins football and men’s basketball, select women’s basketball games, and the weekly Bruin Insider Show. The Secret Bruin Society brings together passionate UCLA alumni for conversations about the latest happening across UCLA sports. What’s Bruin Show is hosted by UCLA alumni Jake Merrifield ’99 and Mike Regalado ’03, who bring their perspectives as Bruins to a podcast covering the wide-ranging world of UCLA sports. From the latest news and team updates to the conversations and storylines surrounding the Bruins, the show provides a home for all things UCLA Athletics.

Review: “Funny and Thoughtful Guys That Know How to Speak the Good and Bad of UCLA Sports”

“Been a longtime listener of the guys and love everything about the show. All the guys are incredibly down-to-earth but can talk intelligently about UCLA Football, Basketball and some other revenue-generating sports (they occasionally talk about CAL sports as well, given that one of them is an alum). The various segments they’ve created allow for different discussions about sports, but they also throw in some fun discussions about pop culture, family, social media, etc. I hope they plan to expand to include more interviews with players, coaches, administration folks as well as other journalists down the road.”

Hosted by Zach Anderson-Yoxsimer, a Division I play-by-play broadcaster and diehard UCLA fan, the daily podcast offers a wide range of Bruins coverage, from breaking news and analysis to interviews, game recaps and insight from around the programs.

“Zach’s perspective and fandom is fun, loyal and measured. The podcasts are almost everyday and no other UCLA pod comes close. He stays on top of the most recent news so you don’t have to. He holds his own on the Locked on Big 10 pod too. The titles can be over the top, but his opinions are not.”
