Internship Alumni Network

The UCLA Internship Alumni Network (IAN) supports student career development through internships and mentoring. Our organization strives to make internships and experiential learning accessible to students, and to create a pathway for alumni to develop opportunities for students. We serve as an alumni resource in partnership with the UCLA Career Center and the UCLA Alumni Association.

The network was founded by Robert S. Michaels ’67, J.D. ’70. Once an informal group of UCLA campus leaders who were involved in various internship programs, now IAN aims to further the goal of students obtaining an internship as part of their undergraduate experience. From raising scholarships for unpaid internships to advocating for alumni hiring Bruins, the Internship Alumni Network creates opportunities that fosters student success.
