Start engaging with the Bruin community by creating your UCLA ONE account through the UCLA ONE Portal. Please follow the simple process below to get started.

Note to previous users: If you have not logged in since May 10, 2022, you may be required to re-register through the UCLA ONE Portal. This new process will reset your login credentials. If done correctly, your profile will not change and your new sign-in will lead you back to the platform without issue.

  1. Go to https://uclaone.com
  2. Click on “Sign in” at the top of the screen, then click the blue button that says “Sign on with UCLA ONE Portal”
  3. Click “Sign up” below the blue button that says “Sign in”
    • For users who need to re-register: Please click “Sign up” even if you have an existing account
  4. Enter the email and password you would like to use or select which method you’d like to establish your sign-in
    • For users who need to re-register: If you have forgotten your password, you may enter your new password at this step
  5. You will be sent a verification number by email or text to enter into the sign-in process
    • Please leave this tab/window open. If you have chosen to receive the code by email, open your inbox in a new tab/window to retrieve the code and return to the verification screen to enter it
  6. The new sign-in process will match you withto your UCLA record
    • If it cannot be matched, you will be asked to submit additional information to match your identity withto your UCLA ONE account. If you share your email with a spouse, you will need to select which person is signing into the UCLA ONE profile
  7. Upon identification, you will be directed back to the UCLA ONE platform
  8. Fill out the UCLA ONE Profile information from grad year to degree
    • You will then be directed to add in professional information that will be made public on your UCLA ONE profile
  9. Select how you would like to provide and receive help on the UCLA ONE platform

FAQ:

What do I do if I receive an error message saying that my account already exists?

In this case, please follow steps 1 & 2 and sign in without clicking “Sign up” as it states in the instructions.

What if I can’t find my verification code?

Make sure to check your spam/junk folder for the email and wait a few minutes as the code may take some time to reach your inbox.

What if I accidentally close the verification screen?

If you cannot return to the verification screen for any reason you may retry this process in 24-48 hours.

What if I forgot my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you may create a new password when you enter your credentials in step 4.

Employer guidelines

As a member of the UCLA ONE community, we require your compliance with the platform’s Terms of Use and UCLA’s True Bruin Values while utilizing UCLA ONE in your hiring efforts. Additionally, please see the notes below on how employers are expected to engage with the UCLA ONE community.

Employer Do’s & Don’t’s

  • DO use the job board to post opportunities they are currently hiring for
  • DO NOT create/update accounts to represent your organization. Please use your profile to represent yourself as an individual
  • DO use the main feed to post introductions (for yourself or your organization), share upcoming events related to hiring and/or career development (info sessions, office hours, career workshops, etc.)
    • When posting on the main Feed, please tailor your posts for UCLA students/alumni
  • DO use the events calendar to share upcoming events related to hiring or career development
  • DO use the directory to search for candidates for your positions and reach out to community members with the provided contact information
  • DO NOT use any of UCLA ONE’s features to share content unrelated to hiring or career development
  • DO post your Bruin-owned/Bruin-led organization and active promotions on the Businesses & Services directory

Bruins on UCLA ONE are eager to support your Bruin-owned business! Promote your business or service to inform the community about what you offer and share exclusive deals with Bruins.

  1. Select the Businesses & Services tab in the navigation bar on the left
  2. Select the Start Posting button
  3. Provide your business name and select a category for your business
  4. Fill out the rest of the form with your business information
  5. Add a logo and cover image

Once you have created your post, you may request an exclusive Bruin Business Owner badge for your UCLA ONE profile by filling out this request form. Your badge will be available in the next 2-3 business days.

We aim to maintain UCLA as a safe, welcoming space for everyone. While we encourage communication among UCLA ONE users, please keep your comments, posts and messages respectful, and be advised that all user communications must adhere to our True Bruin Values and Principles of Community.

If administrators deem that:

·         you are not using the platform in the way that it is intended

·         you are reported to be behaving outside of our True Bruin Values and Principles of Community

·         you are posting content or communicating with another user in a way deemed by administrators as inappropriate/spam

your profile may be removed from UCLA ONE by administrators at any given time, and you may be prevented from creating future profiles.

Personal Information

As you register your profile and personal information on UCLA ONE, you consent to UCLA collecting this information to update your personal records.
