Nevers, Palazzo, Packard, Wildermuth, & Wynner, PC (NPW) announced that Colin M. Kawaguchi '08 has been elevated to shareholder of the firm effective July 1.

Kawaguchi joined NPW in 2015 as a business and corporate transactional attorney and specializes in sell-side M&A (merger and acquisition) deals. He counsels emerging and established companies in the areas of corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions, financings and general business matters.

Kawaguchi has experience in various industry sectors, including biotech, financial services, information technology, hospitality and insurance. He has written and oral fluency in Japanese and is a board member and officer of the Japanese American Bar Association.

"Colin is a skilled practitioner who has demonstrated leadership qualities within our firm and in the community. We are excited to have him as a shareholder," said Executive Committee Member Rob Wynner.

Kawaguchi earned his B.A. in sociology and economics and his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2011.
