South Florida Network: UCLA Volunteer Day

In honor of the 14th annual UCLA Volunteer Day, the South Florida Network will volunteer with the Green Haven Project, a non-profit organization with a focus on creating community gardens and sustainable ecosystems in areas with little to no access to fresh produce.

Join Bruins and community volunteers as we kick-off the growing season at Green Haven Project’s community garden in Overtown. Volunteers are invited to help plant fruits and vegetables to be given away to local residents free of charge and advance Green Haven’s mission is to empower residents to live a healthy, sustainable life, through fresh locally grown food.
