Trenten Huntington '06 announces the upcoming release of his new graphic novel, "Team Trash: A Time Traveler’s Guide to Sustainability," which is targeted to middle grade readers and which he hopes will inspire them to learn about recycling and sustainability.

In "Team Trash", when a science project goes awry, two student activists travel through time to learn how to protect our Earth from plastic pollution in modern times.

After earning his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, Huntington has pursued a career in environmental sustainability and believes that engaging young readers in this topic is crucial to building a better future.

"I hope that 'Team Trash' can play a small part in showing the diverse career paths UCLA Alumni pursue to make the world a more vibrant and equitable place," Huntington said.
