Kara (Ritter) Cole '07

Kara (Ritter) Cole '07 an attorney in the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been elevated to shareholder, effective Jan. 1.

Cole's practice involves employment law counseling as well as litigation defense of public and private entities. She defends employers against claims of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract and derivative or related claims at the federal, state and administrative levels. Cole has worked closely with trial partners in the Los Angeles and Orange County Superior Courts, resulting in complete defense verdicts on behalf of her clients. She also routinely defends employers and private businesses in response to Title III/ADA access claims related to both physical premises and websites, and on an individual and class action basis.

Cole earned her B.A. in sociology and her J.D., magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2015.
