Nate Fikse '08, a wealth management advisor at Northwestern Mutual's Summation Wealth Group was named a Northwestern Mutual’s 2024 Community service Award winner. As part of the award, Fikse received a $15,000 grant to donate to a nonprofit of his choice.

Fikse, founder and board member of LEAD OC, runs the organization’s golf tournament and committee each year, which raises funds and awareness for their military efforts. Fikse stated that "The grant money from Northwestern Mutual’s Community Service Awards program will help support our marketing and event efforts for our charities."
