Christopher King ’79, J.D. ’82, has left his position as general counsel and vice president of Hunter Douglas NV in Luzern, Switzerland, and Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in connection with the sale to private equity for an enterprise value of approx. $7 billion, representing an exceptionally high premium over 60-day volume-weighted average price of over 100%.

King is now of counsel to Kellerhals Carrard in Zürich, which is the largest law firm in Switzerland by number of fee-earners. He continues to support clients in mergers and acquisitions, as well as other strategic transactions, particularly in cross-border transactions involving German and Dutch speaking countries.
