Kirstie Ruppert '12

In the summer of 2015, Kirstie Ruppert '12 studied sustainable approaches to human-wildlife coexistence at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the South Rift Valley of Kenya. Ruppert, a research technician at the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research in La Mesa, California, took the graduate course in pursuit of her master’s degree from Miami University’s Global Field Program.
