Amanda Semaan '09, J.D. '13, an attorney in Faegre Drinker’s Labor & Employment practice group, was promoted to counsel, effective Jan. 1.

Semaan is an experienced employment litigator whose practice involves defending employers across various industries in complex wage-and-hour class actions and in representative actions brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She also routinely handles highly contentious, single-plaintiff matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Semaan earned her bachelor's degree in communications.
