Biography
Sanaz Nabati earned double degrees from California State University, Northridge, with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in educational psychology and counseling with specialization in career counseling. She has experience in community college, higher education and nonprofit as a career coach, and also in commercial real estate management as a bookkeeper. Her extensive knowledge in industry and higher education enables her to provide thorough and informed guidance for her clients, drawing many positive reviews from her happy clients.

She is currently an assistant director at the UCLA Career Center where she consults with students in all majors providing career exploration, and graduate and professional application guidance (pre-law, medicine, health, psychology, MBA, etc.) She brings extensive experience working with a variety of student populations such as international students, students with disabilities, students who study and work abroad, and those who need career exploration to identify their career path.  She utilizes many tools, her extensive knowledge and background in helping her clients identify and strategize steps toward their goals.  She also guides clients in the job search process by providing résumé writing and editing, interview skills, and job search assistance.  She thrives on helping clients identify and pursue their ideal career path - as it is one of the most important decisions one makes in their lifetime. She enjoys enhancing her knowledge and expertise in career development by serving on a variety of associations such as the board of California Career Development Association, National Career Development Association and PCAPLA (law-related) to enhance her knowledge and broaden her network in the areas of her consultation practice. 

She genuinely enjoys helping her clients achieve their goals, optimizing their quality of life, confidence, happiness and sense of fulfillment.
