Introducing myCAE
UCLA’s Center for Accessible Education (CAE) facilitates academic accommodations, disability advocacy and serves as an educational resource for the campus community.
myCAE is a new tool for registering with CAE and managing student accommodations. Launching officially on Jan. 5 for the winter 2026 quarter, this tool will provide greater access to accommodation records for students and centralize many current forms in a single location.
About myCAE
myCAE is an all-in-one tool that is replacing the current CAE Student Portal. Boasting similar features, myCAE is where students with accommodations will go to view their accommodation eligibility, request faculty letters, see who their current assigned Disability Specialist is, schedule exams, request individual absences or extensions when appropriate, submit alternative format requests, request new accommodation eligibility and much more. It features a modern, intuitive interface that will make CAE processes speedier and more efficient, and provide students with 24/7 access to approved accommodation eligibility. With most, if not all, of CAE's forms now in one place, students will benefit from having a single place to complete everything they need with CAE.

Getting Support with myCAE
We understand that the transition to myCAE may be a lot for students to adjust to as they wrap up the end of the term. CAE will provide comprehensive support to students who have challenges or concerns accessing their accommodations through myCAE. Learn more about how your student can get support as we transition to myCAE below:
