Biography:

Mollie Stephens, M.P.P., LCSWA, ICF ACC, is the founder and CEO of Matter Collaborative, a coaching, therapy and consulting practice dedicated to supporting social change and mission-driven professionals. Through Matter Collaborative, she offers therapy, coaching and consulting to design and facilitate transformational sessions for hundreds of mid- and senior-level leaders, helping them shift mindsets, clarify their impact and achieve their goals. Stephens draws on a career spanning direct service, policy and organizational leadership, including over a decade at LEE where she most recently led a team of 19 staff running workshops, developing resources and supporting 900-plus coaching clients annually. She also serves as a lecturer at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs, teaching about public affairs careers to graduate students. She has previously worked at CDF-CA, TreePeople, Chrysali and the ACLU-MD, and is driven by the deep belief that there is a sustainable way for every person to make the world a better place. Stephens lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter and cat, and holds a dual M.S.W./M.P.P. from UCLA, a B.A. from Cornell University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate and ICF PCC candidate.
