Laurence Fink '74, M.B.A. '76

Laurence Fink, chairman and CEO of BlackRock, was awarded the UCLA Medal, the campus’s highest honor, in recognition of his service to the community and his legendary career in business and finance.

Fink, who earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA and his M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management, built what was once a small fixed income boutique into a global asset management firm with more than 12,000 employees in 27 countries.
