Gloria Chou '08
Gloria Chou, a foreign service officer for the U.S. Department of State, was chosen as a featured individual on Career Contessa, a company and website that “empowers women to build fulfilling careers, on their terms.” In the interview Chou speaks about lessons learned, having a non-linear career path and what a day in the life of a diplomat looks like. She also speaks in the interview about her experience at UCLA and the opportunities it afforded her such as various study abroad programs. Chou’s international study includes one month in Shanghai with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and six months studying abroad at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Chou is a proud and supportive Bruin.
