Kaveh Navab

Kaveh Navab is a fifth year neuroscience major, pursuing both college and departmental honors. He is the undergraduate representative to the Neuroscience Curriculum Committee, participating in curriculum discussions on behalf of his peers. He has served as coordinator for several programs, including UCLA Mobile Clinic and Stroke Study Research Program. His interest in human behavior and the origin of cognition has led him to pursue research in Dr. Joaquín Fuster’s laboratory of neurophysiology.
Navab endeavors to practice medicine from the perspective of an informed and responsible friend. He sees himself providing patients with the best advice he has available, helping them to control their own livelihood, personal health and relationships. Navab will participate in research, appreciating that having up-to-date information is necessary to give good advice.
