Manisha Sisodia ’01, D.D.S. ’05

Manisha Sisodia has received numerous honors for her research in the field of dentistry, including first place at the California Dental Association Research Poster Presentation. She was also selected as the winner of the Harvard Abstract Competition and has been awarded scholarships from the California Dental Association for Outstanding Academic & Leadership for her exceptional performance reports. Her publications include “The ADHD Gene” and “The UCLA AIDS Institute,” for which she received the Vice Provost's Prize for Best Article Review.
Sisodia applies her clinical knowledge to improve the lives of children with craniofacial anomalies. These children usually possess normal intelligence levels but their deformities lead others to treat them as developmentally retarded. Through UCLA's Craniofacial Clinic and Facing Forward Foundation, Sisodia devotes her time to helping children who are victims of these severe developmental deformities.
