Patricia Baltz ’71

Patricia Baltz ’71 has excelled as a teacher since 1972. Despite nine debilitating strokes which have put her in a wheelchair and impaired her sight, she continues to make learning fun for Camino Grove Elementary School students. In 1993, she was named California Department of Education’s Teacher of the Year and also received Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award from the Walt Disney Company in 1993, which conferred and honorarium on Baltz as well as $25,000 and $10,000 to her school and school district respectively.
