As director of the UCLA Radiological Sciences Resident Training Program, Richard oversees all aspects of this nationally recognized inter-institutional program, which includes training sites at UCLA Medical Center, Olive View-UCLA and West Los Angeles-UCLA Veterans Administration Medical Center. He has also been a regular lecturer for third- and fourth-year medical students participating in the required radiology and advanced senior radiology clerkships. Reflecting his deep commitment to radiology education, Richard has taken a unique leading role in developing educational materials used worldwide to train students and postgraduate physicians.
