Sanford Sigoloff, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Wickes Companies, Inc., thrives on challenges. Recognized as the leading authority in American business on corporate reorganization, he operates with a distinctive personal approach to modern management, combining creativity with skillful use of media tools.

Sigoloff graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in physics and chemistry. He was a consultant to the Atomic Energy Commission and served on the California Governor’s Advisory Council on Radiation. Named group vice president of Xerox Corporation in 1967, he subsequently became president, director or chief executive officer of five major corporations, including Dalin Incorporated. In addition to overseeing operations at Wickes Companies, Inc. he is chairman of the board for Mercantile National Bank.

Sigoloff has served on the board of directors of both the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He is involved in a number of university activities, including The UCLA Foundation Board of Trustees and the Graduate School Management Board of Overseers.
