The first book by Marc McGuire '73, J.D. '76, a political thriller, is to be published April 16 by Black Rose Writing.

In "Missions," computer scientist Doyle O’Gara follows a terrorism investigation spanning Paris to Washington, D.C., while also exploring the deeper themes about the extent we as humans go to in order to support our most core beliefs. Serious questions emerge about human nature — even man’s propensity and potential to kill his fellow creatures in the name of abstract ideas.
