Joan Lutz, M.L.S. '68

Joan Kelley Lutz, M.L.S. '68, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, due to heart complications. She is described as "an independent, caring, strong-willed, loving, courageous, compassionate and loyal woman who lived life to the fullest. Her passion to savor life, travel the world and truly experience all this life had to offer was inspiring! She loved her family fiercely and was so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. She touched the hearts of those who knew her and will be deeply missed."

Flower donations can be sent in Lutz’s name to the Oncology-Women’s Center at The City of Hope in Duarte, California. Or, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the nonprofit organization Operation Smile.
