Reservation

The James West Alumni Center was designed to provide alumni, donors and friends of the University an appropriate facility to enhance intellectual, cultural and social functions. This facility primarily serves the UCLA External Affairs Department and, when available, other University units, alumni and donor support groups, and registered campus organizations. Reservations will be accepted for activities which are in accordance with University regulations as well as the Alumni Center terms and conditions.

We are excited to announce that the audio/visual technology upgrade in both the Collins Conference Room and Founders’ Room is complete. You will now be able to take advantage of fully hybrid technology for your meetings as well as a new indoor and outdoor speaker system, wireless handheld and lavalier microphones. Beginning on April 1, 2024 there will be a slight increase in our room rental rates. You can view the new room rental rates HERE. We thank you for your continued support.


Room rental fees

Current room rental fees through June 30, 2024. Half day rentals are 4 hours or less. Full day rentals are over 4 hours. You can click on each event space name to see a video tour.

Additional fees

Depending on the timing and activity of your event, your event may require staffing and cleaning fees

Staffing fee  
If your event takes place after 5 p.m. or on a weekend, you will need to have a UCLA Alumni staff member present in the building. There will also be a fee to set up and strike the room.

Events that have over 50 guests and have catering will incur a cleaning cost.
