Alumni Scholars Club: Volunteer Request

About Campus Volunteers Program

The Alumni Scholars Club partners with the UCLA community through Campus Volunteers, a program that provides ASC volunteers for UCLA’s major events including the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Parents' Weekend and UCLA sporting events.

ASC is comprised of students who have received Alumni Scholarships from the UCLA Alumni Association. Alumni Scholars are dedicated to academic excellence, extracurricular activities and community service. These exceptional students are eager to volunteer in the UCLA community in order to maintain their high level of achievement as well as to renew their scholarships, which requires 30 service hours annually. On average, Alumni Scholars donate more than 13,000 service hours annually to campus-sponsored projects ranging from tutoring to community outreach.

Request Volunteers

ASC offers partnerships with UCLA-affiliated organizations. ASC will supply volunteers to help organize, setup and execute an event. In return, ASC would like to receive recognition in the form of a simple thank you and a testimonial to use in future marketing materials.

Event Qualifications

  • Must be UCLA-affiliated
  • Must occur before May 20, 2015
  • Requires at least 10 volunteers
  • Serves at least 50 people

Applications are due four weeks prior to the event date, but earlier submissions are encouraged to allow more time for recruitment.
