Chau Le is the recipient of the 2017 Community Service Award. Her civic leadership spans numerous philanthropic and community involvements. From chairing her company, Northwestern Mutual’s corporate philanthropy program, to serving on Boards and leadership positions of pediatric cancer and educational organizations (GameChanger Charity, Van Lang Academy, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation), Le’s community contributions have benefited children across the city. She has raised support for Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA . She works closely with the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART) and Child and Adult Neurodevelopmental Clinic (CAN) to launch a program aimed at bringing support services to UCLA college students on the spectrum and training to underserved countries. Currently, she serves as the vice chair of the UCLA Fund Chancellor’s Cabinet. Le graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in economics and holds an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
