Douglas Quon Woo ’82
As founder and editor-in-chief of the Undergraduate Journal of Political Science, Douglas Quon Woo has left his mark at UCLA. A political science major with a 3.9 grade point average, he has also been active as a tutor in the Academic Advancement Program. Woo is a self-motivated individual with an intense desire to use his acquired knowledge to make a positive societal contribution. He was president of Dykstra Hall and created its first newspaper. He also served as president and comptroller of the Inter-Residence Halls Council.
Douglas Woo has been a recipient of top honors including a Regents’ Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship and an Alumni Association Distinguished Scholar Award for his continued scholastic excellence. He will attend Yale Law School after graduation.
