Grace Ganz Blumberg

Grace’s popularity with students stems not only from her ability to effectively communicate complicated legal doctrine, but also from the humanity and critical insight that she brings to her subject matter. After receiving the Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching from the School of Law 10 years ago, she took upon herself the challenge of meeting the needs of students in academic difficulty, developing a methodology in which students teach other students. This is an enormously time-consuming form of teaching, and Grace is the rarest of law school faculty in doing this.
