Jessica Willison ’13

Posted On - May 28, 2015

Jessica Willison is co-founder and Chief Communications Officer of socially-conscious start-up Enrou, an online marketplace that empowers consumers to purchase from social good brands that advance global community development. In October 2014, she and her business partner Ann Wang ’13 represented Enrou and were named winners of the "$400,000 Pressure Cooker" pitch competition held during the Forbes Under 30 Summit. Before co-founding Enrou, Willison received her degree in communication studies at UCLA and was an editorial intern at Refinery29, one of the top fashion publications in the world. Through her editorial and retail experiences, she sought to make a change in the fashion industry, by giving fashion enthusiasts a socially conscious alternative to online shopping. While Wang focuses on making sure the product has a positive impact on global communities, Willison makes sure that the products are fashionable for the market and were produced sustainably. With the Forbes prize, they plan to relaunch and redesign, reach out to a massive audience, find an office and hire a full team.
