Kenneth Graham, Professor of Law

Kenneth Graham has stimulated, inspired and provoked his students to think creatively about law for more than twenty years. He does not make students comfortably - he makes them think. He is rigorous without being destructive and probing without being demeaning. His healthy irreverence for legal institutions instills in his students a willingness to question, to doubt and to say “not so” when they move from the classroom to the courtroom and must face the so-called “unquestionable truths” they will encounter in the practice of law. He teaches that an honest and dedicated lawyer can make a difference in the integrity of our legal system, just as he has demonstrated that a committed and gifted teacher can make a difference in the life of the UCLA School of Law.
