Heather R. Parker '90, M.A. '93, Ph.D. '96

Alumna and historian Heather R. Parker '90, M.A. '93, Ph.D. '96, was appointed dean of The College of Arts and Sciences at Saint Leo University in January 2020. She had filled the post on an interim basis since November 2018. Parker joined the teaching faculty of the university as an assistant professor in August 2006 and now holds the rank of full professor.

Saint Leo is a Catholic university, founded north of Tampa, in central Florida. It maintains its residential campus there and operates teaching locations in seven states, enrolling students through its online delivery system.

Parker earned all three of her degrees in history.
