Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce that Bruin Michael J. Minnick Jr. has joined the Greensboro office as a staff attorney focused on e-discovery. Minnick will work with attorneys across the firm to help them identify, review and preserve electronic data in preparation for trial.

Prior to joining Brooks Pierce, Minnick worked with Legal Aid of North Carolina for two years, litigating in the traditional areas of poverty law. He has also previously assisted with trial preparation at Brooks Pierce, helping attorneys review and analyze documents for complex cases.

Minnick is a member of the Greensboro Bar Association, EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model) at Duke Law’s Center for Judicial Studies and the Association of Certified e-Discovery Specialists. He received his law degree from the UCLA and has a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.
