Nazli Tatar, M.Arch. '17

Nazli Tatar, M.Arch. '17, has been promoted to associate at CO Architects in Los Angeles, Calif. Originally from Turkey, Tatar joined CO in 2017 as a digital experience designer. She researches and applies new technologies in virtual and augmented reality to the design process. Through interactive applications and user experience prototypes, her efforts enable the firm’s design team to experiment with innovative solutions for visually conceptualizing high-value spaces as well as to foster collaborative decision making. She was instrumental in the development of CO’s Virtual Operating Room Experience, a mixed-reality program enabling doctors to virtually experience their operating rooms, leading to more efficient design.
