Dan’s dad once asked him “who told you work was supposed to be fun?” So, Dan moved to LA.

After getting his MBA at UCLA, Dan went into the mailroom at a talent agency and launched into a seriously fun creative career, with Samuel Goldwyn, American Gladiators, Fox/Disney and finally launching video channels at Playboy. Then, he chucked it all to bootstrap an iPhone case brand JIMMYCASE with a Kickstarter. Soon Tom Hanks and Chris Martin (Coldplay) and the AT&T stores were carrying his cases. Early 2022, Dan sold the business and took a break for a few weeks.

Now he’s consulting for media/tech and ecommerce companies. “All my clients ask me to do the same thing. They hand me a pile of lemons and ask me to make lemonade. But they really want/need something better, so I make chocolate cake.
