Bruin Walks: Descanso Trail and Cherry Canyon Hike

Located near the famous Descanso Gardens, enjoy a hike through Cherry Canyon Park with Rose Bowl Bruins. This short, steep loop in La Cañada Flintridge is more of a hike than a walk, but the hard work earns magnificent views. Largely shaded but slippery, sturdy legs and good shoes are advised. All alumni, families and friends are welcome, although this hike may not be suitable for young children.

Please bring proper footwear, water, snacks, hat, sunglasses and sunblock. Following the hike, we will head to lunch together at La Cañada Town Center on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Angeles Crest Highway. Options include Panera Bread, Blaze Pizza and The Habit Burger Grill. Guests are responsible for covering the cost of what they order at the restaurant.

Street parking near the trailhead is free.
