October is National Arts & Humanities Month, and what better way to celebrate than by immersing ourselves in the arts and culture that make our community so vibrant? Join us for a fun tour of The Hilbert Museum in Orange, CA, where you’ll get to explore captivating California Scene paintings that showcase the diverse landscapes and rich history of our beautiful state.
This tour is part of UCLA’s Bruin Promise, which is all about providing our alumni with exciting opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. The Arts & Culture segment of the Bruin Promise invites you to dive into inspiring cultural experiences, and this visit to The Hilbert Museum is a perfect chance to do just that. You’ll enjoy a stunning collection of art depicting California’s heritage, from the 1930s to the 1970s.
Plus, this is the final day of the California Art Club’s 113th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition, featuring incredible contemporary-traditional works by talented California artists.
We’ll kick off the day by meeting outside The Hilbert Museum at 9:30 AM, before heading in for a fantastic tour. After soaking up all the art, we’ll enjoy good eats at the Streamliner Lounge, located right at the Orange Metrolink Train Station in the beautifully renovated historic Santa Fe Depot.
Come join us for a day filled with art, culture, and Bruin camaraderie! We can’t wait to see you there!
