Faculty Women's Club: Inaugural 2022 Performance by Professor Rahul Neuman, Hindustani Classical Music Sitarist

Join us for an hour of Hindustani Classical Sitar Music performed by Professor Rahul Neuman, Co-Director of the Music of India Ensemble at UCLA. He will enlighten us about his own musical journey since his early childhood in New Delhi and his love for the Hindustani classical sitar art of playing. He will instruct us on his efforts - as a student, a performer, and educator - to preserve the sitar traditional techniques and how he transfers that knowledge to his own students at UCLA. Mr. Neuman will be happy to answer your questions after his performance.
