Join the New York Tri-State Network for our October book club! In our second discussion on the theme of heroes, we will explore "The Breaks of the Game," by David Halberstam.

David Halberstam turns his keen reporter's eye on basketball: the players and the coaches, the long road trips, what happens on the court, in front of television cameras, and off-court, where no eyes have followed...until now. The book focuses on the Portland Trailblazers' grim 1979-1980 season, led by former UCLA superstar Bill Walton.
