Join us for the 2023 UCLA Prytanean Alumnae Association Annual Spring Benefit and Luncheon featuring special guest speaker, Dr. Anna Lee Fisher, at the Flight Path Museum and Learning Center at LAX.

Anna Fisher ’71, M.D. ’76, M.S. ’87, was the first mother in space, three-time UCLA graduate, chemist, physician and a member of NASA's first astronaut class to include women. In addition to serving on space missions, Fisher was chief of the Astronaut Office’s Space Station branch, where she had a significant role in building the foundation for the International Space Station. She also worked in the mission control center as a lead communicator to the space station. Before retiring in 2017, Fisher was a management astronaut working on display development for NASA’s pioneering Orion spacecraft, which will take astronauts farther into the solar system than they have ever gone.

Attendees will be able to explore the Flight Path Museum and Learning Center. The museum and learning center was founded in 1995 as a nonprofit, community-based organization to honor aviation pioneers and recognize the economic importance of aviation and aerospace to Southern California.
