In honor of the 14th annual UCLA Volunteer Day, the Rose Bowl Bruins will volunteer with the Arroyo Seco Foundation (ASF), which was founded to preserve and promote the Arroyo Seco - a seasonal river and canyon that runs from the San Gabriel Mountains all the way to Downtown L.A. ASF engages in watershed and flood management, water conservation and habitat enhancement and restoration projects, including bringing back trout to the Arroyo Seco.

Join Bruins and community volunteers as we participate in the Arroyo Seco Foundation's Rainbow Trout Restoration Program. Volunteers are invited to help with habitat restoration by removing invasive plants along the Arroyo Seco Stream area and water quality sampling work as part of the LA River eDNA Bioblitz program.

Volunteers should bring comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, gardening gloves and water. Tarps for the plant trash and plastic bags for any rubbish will be provided.

Please meet at the end of Explorer Road, where a dirt parking lot is located right before the JPL parking entrance.

This event has a limited capacity of 20 spots, so register today. Once we reach capacity, there will be a waitlist operating on a first-come, first-serve basis.
