San Diego Bruin Beach Cleanup and Breakfast

Spring is here! Join your UCLA San Diego Alumni Network as we clean out our closets and clean up our beaches. This event is family-friendly, we encourage friends of alumni and families to attend!

Here's what you need to know:

8:15 a.m. - Breakfast provided by San Diego UCLA Alumni Network
9 a.m. - Beach cleanup begins

UCLA BRANDED DONATIONS FOR FUTURE FUNDRAISER: Dust off your gently used, UCLA-branded attire and UCLA items lying around the house this Spring. We will be collecting UCLA-branded donations for a future San Diego Alumni Network Fundraiser. Proceeds of the fundraiser will support ongoing network events.

MEET US ON THE SAND BY LIFEGUARD TOWER 34 - The address provided above is the closest physical address to our meeting location, however, it is not where you will find us. The meeting spot is on the sand by Lifeguard Tower 34. Look for the blue Surfrider Tent.

WAIVERS - All volunteers who have registered online (or parents/guardians of those under 18) have already consented to the waiver during their registration process. If you are bringing any guests who have not signed up using the same link, they can register upon arrival during the check-in process.

CHECK-IN - Once you arrive, please check in by scanning a QR code at the Surfrider station. This is a separate step from registering and is especially important and required for those interested in receiving confirmation of their community service.

SUPPLIES - All cleanup supplies will be provided; however, we encourage volunteers to bring their own (gloves, trash grabbers, and a reusable bag to collect trash) if they have them, as supplies are limited and can sometimes run out.

Please bring your own water in a reusable container.
