The Promise Institute for Human Rights at UCLA Law and the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative are set to host a Human Rights and Humanitarian Forum on May 9, 2024. The event aims to address pressing issues through discussions led by global thought leaders and local changemakers, celebrating the exemplary resilience and dedication of modern-day human rights and humanitarian heroes focusing on gender justice and women’s empowerment, global health and global healthcare crisis, the right to education, forced displacement and refugees, the decline of democracy, climate change, artificial intelligence, localization of humanitarian aid, and philanthropy.
