Ever wonder about those wildlife photographers who try to get the perfect shot? That’s wildlife photographer Joel Sartore, who has spent more than 25 years with National Geographic — and he's got the stories and scars to prove it.
Town & Gown Affiliates of UCLA invites you to view this extraordinary documentary produced by Nat Geo and the Annenberg Foundation, of Sartore’s efforts to take these amazing shots to compile the world’s largest collection of animal studio portraits. Sartore's goal is simple: to get the public to look these creatures in the eyes and be inspired to care and save the species from extinction.
Our Town & Gown Affiliates student scholars will be joining us, as we celebrate their accomplishments and see firsthand the impact of your generous financial support of Alumni Scholarships.
